With September coming to a close, it’s time for another recap of our Denver photo booth rental events! I love writing these because it just reminds me of how blessed Jeff and I are for having MiHi and how we get to do what we love day in and day out.
September started out with two bookings on the night of September 2nd. Both were weddings, and both weddings were so much fun. Jeff and I worked the first wedding with our new vintage booth down at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. The wedding was perfect and the guests loved our new booth. For the second wedding of the evening, Todd headed up to Estes Park where he set up at Dell Terra Mountain Chateau. I still feel jealous he got to work that wedding because Dell Terra is such a beautiful and timeless venue.
On September 3rd, we hopped onto I-70 for a photo booth rental in Beaver Creek, at Beano’s Cabin. I love weddings that use mountain top venues in the summer. Beano’s Cabin is such a perfect venue and I loved it even more after learning the staff members had been working there from seven to 20+ years! I felt that having such a close group of employees made the place feel like a home, not another venue. On top of that, we met a couple great cinematographers, one being Dusty Jenkins of Cinepro Studios. Cinepro Studios is your one stop spot for videos. Whether it be wedding cinematography or even YouTube marketing, these guys are the best at what they do! To wrap up the weekend, Jeff and the photo booth hung out at Diebolt Brewing Company in Denver for a wedding on September 4th. We just went back this week to try their Wiggy Wiggy brew that’s made with hibiscus flowers. It was SO good!
We found ourselves back at The Manor House on Friday September 9th for a wedding. Jeff met Jewels of Jewels Gray Photography and couldn’t say enough nice things about her and her determination to make the day perfect for the bride and groom. That Saturday, Todd worked a wedding for us at The Curtis Hotel in Denver. He said the rooms all have different pop culture themes which makes me want to stay there just to check it out!
We had our longest event to date which stretched between September 14-15 at the E Source Fourm 2016. We were set up in the “Forum Mall” which included our photo booth, a chair massage station, a (delicious) coffee cart, a “living room”, and a caricature artist. It was a blast!
That weekend, we had three weddings. The first was at the Grand Hyatt on Saturday. I love having events there as I’m always so impressed with the hotel staff’s friendliness and willingness to help us set up. Sunday we had two more weddings. One at the beautiful Lionsgate Event Center where we set up inside of the Dove House, and the other wedding at The Chief Hosa Lodge in Golden. Todd said the lodge was a gorgeous building of stone and wood and that it was the perfect Colorado wedding venue.
To wrap September up, we finished with two more weddings on Saturday, September 24th. Todd went down to The Roxborough Community Center for a wedding where he said the booth didn’t stop taking pictures all night! Jeff ran the second wedding up in Loveland on Osborn Farm. The booth was set up outside, which proved to be a slight problem because the wind wouldn’t hold the backdrop but Jeff’s quick thinking ensured that the photos still looked amazing. He took down the backdrop stand and used the vine covered fence as a backdrop instead and I’m so glad he did because the pictures look amazing!
September only brought us a few chilly days, and I’m still anticipating the arrival of cold weather but that didn’t stop me from creating a sale for our photo booth rentals out of excitement for chilly nights, pumpkin flavored everything and the impending arrival of snow! Through the end of October we’re offering a three hour Denver photo booth rental with a premium backdrop, SMS sharing and a memory book for $700 (which is a savings of $175). Email us at info@mihiphotobooth.com if you’re interested!
Happy Fall! -Jules
