Things to do in Denver for Valentine’s Day

Things to do in Denver for Valentine's Day

Over the years, all the Denver photo booth rentals that I’ve ran for MiHi have allowed me to visit and work with some amazing restaurants and venues in Colorado’s capital city. With Valentine’s Day one week away, I thought it would be fun to share some date destinations that have been inspired by all of the Denver photo booth rentals I’ve worked. Enjoy!

Southwest Rink at Skyline Park

Who doesn’t want to cuddle up with some hot coco after a fun time ice skating? With Southwest’s ice rink at Skyline Park, you have access to countless nearby Denver restaurants and cafes to thaw out in after a great time skating in the rink. So grab your mittens, earmuffs and ice skates before it closes on February 14th!

Denver Botanic Gardens – Orchid Showcase

Through February 20th, the Denver Botanic Gardens will carry you away from the Colorado cold and into a stunning environment of colorful orchids. When you’re done enjoying the exotic environment, head over to Cherry Creek and grab a bite to eat at one of the many amazing restaurants. My two favorite: Hapa Sushi for their creative sushi rolls, mouthwatering calamari and delicious cocktails, and Piat, an Italian Restaurant and Bar which I love for their to-die-for spaghetti and endless wine selection.

Comedy Works

Who doesn’t love sharing a memory of laughing so hard you cry with someone you love? Through February, Sarah Silverman can give you and your sweetie some great laughs, inside jokes and fun memories at Comedy Works in Larimer Square. Why not grab a bite to eat before the show at my personal all time favorite restaurant in Denver- Tag. Try the margarita made with jalapeno and basically everything on the food menu (you won’t be disappointed, I promise).

Not in the mood to share time with your loved one in Denver? Try a romantic, memory filled weekend in the mountains. If skiing and snowboarding aren’t your forte, check out High Altitude Motosports in Vail and head out on an unguided snowmobile tour! The guys over at High Altitude are so amazing and will make sure your mountain trip is unforgettable.

Even if celebrating Valentine’s Day isn’t your cup of tea, the above activity ideas are perfect for anyone, couple or family just looking to make memories in Colorado. If you have any ideas, share them below!
